 This is by no means a step-by-step install article. I simply took pictures of interesting or troublesome parts of the install. Hopefully some insight will be gained from my experience.

 The diameter of the hole for the brace didn't match the hole on the main brace. The main brace could accept a 1/2" bolt, the base could not. The supplied bolt fit the base, leaving tons of play in the main brace. So we drilled out a 1/2" hole to accept the bigger bolt as shown in the base on right.

The cowl installation went a lot smoother and the brace is very rigid now.

We had to install the bases with enough room to adjust the mounting towers for more or less camber.
